OPTIX welcomed official delegation from the Ministry of defence and Bulgarian armed forces

On the 30^th of March, official delegation led by the Chief of Defence Admiral Emil Eftimov, visited the production facilities of OPTIX in Panagyurishte. The delegation included the Deputy Defence Minister Alexander Petkov, the Deputy Chief of Defence lieutenant general Dimitar Iliev, the Director of the Defence Staff, the commanders of the Joint forces command, Land Forces, Air Force, Navy, Joint Special operations command, 61^st and Second mechanized brigades as well as directors of units within the Ministry of Defence.

The executive manager of OPTIX – eng. Ivan Cholakov and the team of OPTIX had the opportunity to demonstrate the latest solutions of the company in the field of monoculars, single and twin tube night vision goggles, thermal imaging observation devices, sights and clip ons, as well as integrated systems for surveillance and security. The delegation tested some of the products at the company’s shooting range.

In an open discussion with the commanders, OPTIX presented specific proposals for the current urgent needs of the armed forces to obtain operational compatibility with the armies of the EU and NATO countries.

During the meeting Admiral Eftimov pointed out that the participation of the national industry in the rearmament of the Armed forces of Bulgaria will allow the usage of high technology and reliable products with created facilities and conditions for maintenance of the equipment. This will bring the needed degree of security for the deliveries to the Bulgarian Armed Forces.
