OPTIX exhibited its latest solutions at the first-ever World Defense Show 2022

World Defense Show is a global stage for defense and security in which worldwide leaders, visitors, and participants are interacting, sharing knowledge, and showcasing the latest innovations in every possible domain – land, air, sea, space, and security. The event took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – one of the world’s leading influencers and spenders for the defense industry.

From 6th till 9th of March 2022 OPTIX’s first-class solutions stood by 600 exhibitors from 42 countries.

The event was successful for our team. Milko Zazrev, Sales Deputy Director, and Peter Bosnev, Head of Sales of Special Production, presented a wide range of devices for military and law enforcement applications and integrated security systems for border control and observation. They met hundreds of partners, manufacturers, traders, and end-users from all over the world. Our team welcomed delegations from the region and Africa, as well as the Bulgarian Ambassador.

The stars of the show

Across the 4 days of the World Defense Show, the visitors expressed great interest in OPTIX’s night vision monoculars, thermal imaging binoculars, and sights with a broad variety of use, as well as OPTIX’s complex solutions for surveillance. Here are some of them:

The Diana M40 is an extremely versatile night vision monocular device, which features 1x zoom and has a wide field of view. It is a universal device as it can be used as a handheld, mounted on a helmet or a mask, mounted on a weapon. There is no coincidence that this device intrigued the visitors. Diana M40 can perform a wide range of tasks such as - field observation and patrol, fire control in combination with a night vision compatible red dot sight, tactical and strategical surveillance, and field reconnaissance.

The new and improved ZiR 100 Clip-On thermal device also caught the attention of visitors. It is fully dedicated to serving the sniper teams for extended range coverage during the night and harsh weather conditions without the need to change the day scope configuration on the weapon.

One of OPTIX’s focus products – the BidentifieR was shown to many guests. The uncooled thermal imaging binocular provides a crisp image at any time and in all weather conditions, thanks to the sensitive detector and the intelligent digital video processing.

Our team demonstrated OPTIX’s expertise in border protection and observation of oil fields with integrated security systems - multisensory surveillance systems, cooled and uncooled thermal imaging cameras, long-range color cameras, and reliable units. They provide 24/7 protection with a high-resolution image. The best-quality solutions are integrated into our own three-level concept for border protection.

The latest thermal imaging handheld solutions and sighting devices

During the WDS, Defense Web TV made a media review with Milko Zazrev. He showcased OPTIX’s latest thermal imaging handheld solutions and sighting devices.
