OPTIX has participated in the first SafeShore demo event at the North Sea
On May 25, the first demo event at the North Sea shoreline in Nieuwpoort was held, where guests of the event included various end-users, members of the European Commission, as well as regional / national press and television.
After an introduction into SafeShore project's objectives and achievements, the participants gathered at the beach to see the Safeshore detection system that contains components produced by OPTIX.
Different types of vessels, individual people swimming or paddling towards the shore, as well as low altitude airborne objects in the shape of drones were presented and tracked by the system.
