The new production building is located on the territory of the former Riton-P tailoring enterprise, an emblematic building, part of the strong economic history of the municipality. The event was honored by the regional governor Trendafil Velichkov, the mayor of Panagyurishte Municipality Nikola Belishki, partners, colleagues and friends.

Eng. Ivan Cholakov - Executive Director of the company welcomed all the guests, while returning to the memories of the beginning 25 years ago when the tradition on February 5th was established. He shared that despite the difficulties, the OPTIX team succeeded at a faster pace to build its high-tech optical production. To date, the enterprise has over 150 thousand square meters of its own land and over 42 thousand square meters of built-up area, modernly equipped for production purposes. Eng. Cholakov shared his gratitude to all those who have supported the development of the company.

The guests had the opportunity to see part of the new production area, which meets all the high standards in optical production – a high-tech, ergonomic and clean environment. Supporting the rapid development of " Schölly-Optix" Ltd, the renovated 4-storey building will be used by the enterprise, providing comfortable conditions and specially designated places for rest.

The large-scale investment facility is directly related to the long-term strategy of OPTIX for sustainable development, and the company's goals are to gather all optical production from the various technological areas in one place.
