Тhe awarding of  “Factory of the year 2022” competition was presented on 8th of December. OPTIX hosted the event and the ceremony itself was held in the real production environment of the high-tech plant for PCB mounting - OPTIX SMT Solutions, which the company opened earlier this year in Plovdiv.

In the first edition of the "Factory of the Year" competition, the manufacturing enterprises in Bulgaria showed that they are not alien to new technologies. The candidates for the award were 24 companies from all over the country – from small businesses to industrial giants. Many of the companies have their own protected patents and utility models. And although practically all 6 finalists are part of international companies, the good news is that a large part of the innovations are made by Bulgarian teams.

Despite the serious competition, the victory went to the manufacturer of automatic circuit breakers "Schneider Electric Bulgaria", which will hold the title until next year. Again, the jury also determined its favorite for the additional award - "Most innovative project of the year", and for 2022 was "Sensata Technologies Bulgaria".

All guests were impressed by the modern look, good organization and technological level of the host plant. The development plans of OPTIX SMT Solutions aim to offer a larger and complete service that will satisfy all the requirements and standards of customers in the field of electronics.
