OPTIX opened a new Technological center for precision optics in Panagyurishte

OPTIX JSC officially opened a new Technological center for precision optics in Panagyurishte. The event took place on the landmark date for the company – February 5, Day of Investments, and marked an important step in the development of high-tech production.

The ceremony was attended by the regional governor of Pazardzhik region Mrs. Valentina Kaytazova, the mayor of Panagyurishte municipality Mr. Zhelyazko Gagov, the chairman of the Municipal Council – Panagyurishte Mr. Ivan Lalov, deputy mayors, representatives of the local authority, business partners and guests. The official opening was marked with a water-blessing for health and traditional ribbon cutting.

The new center is located in Production facility "RITON" and will expand the possibilities of the company in the development and production of high-tech optical products. After the ceremony, the guests had the opportunity to make a production tour and to get acquainted up close with the technological possibilities of the new facility.

In his address, the executive director of OPTIX, Eng. Ivan Cholakov, emphasized that the creation of the center is part of the long-term mission of the company to develop the Bulgarian optical industry.

"In a period when the industry was passing through serious challenges, we decided to do everything possible to preserve and develop the optical production and to guarantee its future," he stated.

According to his words, the success of the company is due to consecutive investments in technologies, modernization of production and development of human potential. Today OPTIX possesses over 210,000 sq. m of properties in three regions of the country and over 48,500 sq. m of total built-up area, and in the group of OPTIX work over 1,000 highly qualified specialists, with secondary, higher education and doctors of science.

During the event, Eng. Cholakov expressed gratitude to the partners, friends and employees of the company for their support and professionalism through the years.

With the opening of the new Technological center, OPTIX consolidates its position as a leading manufacturer and innovator in the optical industry in Bulgaria.
